DD13/15 with DPF is better the same with SCR)))) LOL

If you do not go to California, your options open up and you can look at a truck with NONE of the DPF, SCR, EGR stuff.

None of the above.

I agree. I ordered a 2013 Columbia, spec'd it to the gills, and had a factory rebuilt pre-emission Series 60 put in it. No EGR. No SCR. No DPF. Of course, that is not legit for California, but that is not a concern for me. I don't go west of I-25. Had the truck since last August and have not one regret in getting it. Averages between low 7's and low 8's on fuel mileage. Considerably lighter than the company trucks at my carrier without all that new emissions junk. I can easily load up 48K in the box before I need to worry. And it was almost $40K less than a comparably spec'd truck with all that emission junk, and it will be cheaper to operate over it's life. No brainer.
gerardo1961 Thanks this.
