    I Drove For Skyway And They Gave me good miles, but when I needed To Get Home to PA. For an Emergency and I got Pulled into Bosses Office and He Told Me That I will Only Drive 500 miles from terminal. I was Mad, I agreed to it so They Would not strand me. and I took a load to Chicago, After I delivered. I took An MT Towards my home. As I got to Canton, OH I was amost out of Fuel so I Tried to fuel Card did not work, I called to fix it and they told me the called the police and They were on the way to the Truck. I packed out, and took a bus the rest of the way. Now they tried to file charges, but in Ohio they don't have a law that Defends outside Trucking Companies. Now My DAC Has Abandoment on it. How am I going to Bypass this on my DAC to get another Driving Job. If you can Help Please Feel free to. I Need a job.... Thanks....:biggrin_25510::biggrin_2553::biggrin_1square8:

    This sucks, man. I really hope that you get it all worked out. :(

    DAC.. Doesn't that stand for drug and alcohol content? Or have i been mistaken all this time.. It seems that, if so, adding anything other than that should be illegal. Deflamation of character, or some such. Slander, even.

    Sorry to hear about that mess dtc; but there are companies out there that do not use DAC. You just need to find 'em, which of course is easier said than done. You can have an explanation (or dispute, can't remember what it's called) put on your DAC, that was written by you explaining what happened.

    It is a shame that drivers have to go through life fearing DAC. This is almost slavery. As stated, there are many companies out there that do not do business with DAC, I would check them out.

    A little advice, anytime you have the intention of quitting or going home without approval, fuel up before you start. I have seen this happen too many times. Think ahead. These trucking companies don't care about a driver, but there are ways to get things accomplished.
