I will be attending class starting on the 25th of Feb. Anyone have any advice that'd like to share with me, other than run for the hills? haha I have made up my mind and this something i truly want to do. I have family in trucking industry and have made it clear to me of the "trucking lifestyle" and the sacrifices that have to be made. My main goal is to obtain a few years over the road experience so i can return home and try and get a local job, or i might decided to stay out on the road. One more thing, i was wondering if anyone else on this forum will by chance attending at the same time as i will be?

I'm considering a switch in jobs and looking to possibly get my CDL with Central. I'm still undecided if I want to spend the $$ on an independent school, like Western Pacific, or go with a company like Central. I had hoped to team drive with my husband, who is currently driving local, but he's pretty adamant that he doesn't want to go on the road. That's a huge bummer for me, but I've decided to move forward and likely drive regional. I've got time to do more research, I'm not planning on leaving my current job until next summer. I'll be interested to see how things go for you and I wish you all the best.
