First off you don't OWN anything! You may operate a truck that is about it. My family has been in the trucking industry for 70 years how about yours? There is a huge difference between running a company and running as a leasee. You are nothing more then a glorified company worker!

I have owned my own trucking company "literally owned" trucks, trailers, authority. I hauled direct under contract and brokered the rest I couldn't haul. I also owned and operated a brokering company. MY family owns luke 3:16 transportation and BDR.

So now you have a little truck and think because I rolll in a may truck as a company driver that I know little to nothing about the business of trucking? PLEASE... You know nothing about ME or what I have going on.

Your a lease OP and either 1 lack the knowledge to OWN your own company or your to SCARED to go all the way.. UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY CONTRACT YOUR OWN FREIGHT STOP TALKING. YOUR A GLORIFIED COMPANY DRIVER taking all the risk and running your mouth is all you do!.

apparently you failed at owning yer own trucking company. I do own my own truck dip lick. I lease onto instead of my Authority for personal reasons ..

Your prob is .. The first time anyone disagrees with you, you attack them and put them down .. Must be that little pe nis syndrome.

You are a waist of my time .. Go be a Sheep for May ...

Russjac, thats roughly 18k for 6 mos? What is that, like $700 a week gross?

I think the 125 thing has to do with health insurance.

FOR PERSONAL REASONS? LOL. Your a so CALLED man of numbers. So tell me, Why would you give away 25-40 % of your profit??? FOR PERSONAL REASONS? LOL Clearly you lack the ability to actually OWN A SUCCESSFUL COMPANY. What you do and what MARVIN MAY does are in two different worlds. You are no COMPANY OWNER are you really that full of yourself? PLEASE!!!!! YOUR A LEASE OP DREAMER. You lack not only money but the knowledge to run your own COMPANY otherwise you would. You run your truck (well kind of the "company" still tells ya where your going LOL)

Personal reasons? YEAH OKAY SUPER TRUCKER!!!!!

And I have not attacked anyone on this forum. I recently made comments to you after you verbally assaulted me. Otherwise I never would have said a bad word to you. Everyone else might agree with you cause they don't want to be bashed by you but I DON'T GIVE A FLYING %#$@ about you or what you say, PERIOD. I have also told platinum I knew he would be a problem from the moment he stepped on the forum, but I never attacked him. (btw I was right) It won't be long before he is on happy at his current gig too, mark my word!

BTW I sold my company, how is that not a success? you finally paid off a lease I paid cash for my trucks at auction. YEAH your a super trucker now Paloma!

you have NOT attacked anyone in this Forum ... Look how you just attacked be you A ss Hole.

You are a Moron. A Company driver Sheep. A failed business owner.. After all, its your own words that said why would ya give up profit to the company. Yet you are company girl. Unbelievable.

i dont believe you ran yer own authority .. You are an effen liar.

Look at those at LTI at May, they run their own Authority and after talking to a few of them when I was still at May, I make more than 1/2 of them without the extra headaches.

you dont know what yer talking about Miss Steve.

I pick the loads, I take the trips I want, I get choice of trips.... Stop talking out of yer Butt Hole about thing you have no idea or understanding about.

Go suck yer DM off to stay on that Loop!

You are a BSer and we all know it.

so we've had a few others post what they've made their first year, or less, which seems more are less than a full year, and the one person left at may with his earnings...
what do these special loop deals at May get ya as far as income? we can sit here and fight all day, at the end of the week all ya have is what the company put on that nifty comdata card

    Paloma Thanks this.

Blue, I don't imagine anyone at May doing the "loop" is getting any more than 2700 a miles a week annually averaged.

Even at 42 cpm, which I believe is May's top rate, it's a decent paycheck, but nothing to write home about if you're a 15 year vet privileged to be on a cushy route like that. Now, there is something to be said about getting home more though.

If I would of stayed at May, I projected my income would of been around $50,000 in 2012. That is without any additional training income I earned as a trainer. If I trained 1 newbie a month that would of brought in another $14,000 a year.
