Well as I sit here in the jump seat, I have officially been back on the road since last Saturday and I am so happy. Had to go on medical leave and didn't know that it would go on for three months. Also in that three months my mom had got sick, and she is all better, so I was glad I was home to help her out.
Even though my company may get a bad rep, but they worked with me and kept extending my time and for that I am grateful for and staying put until they get rid of me or I get bored with them. Some may agree and disagree but it does feel good to be out here on the open road, well that is all I have to say for now. Well a nice welcome back present was a trip to Long Island, NY, but they made up for it by sending me and my co-driver over to Cali. Thanks for the prayers and I'll continue to pray for you all my trucker family.
Back on the Road again!!!!!!

They make you wear a safety vest, safety glasses, long pants, and a hard hat for your safety but when a driver falls in one of their many potholes and breaks their foot i really dont see where wearing all that safety equipment helped.international paper...really.cant wait to get back to work

Very glad you're on the rebound after what was without question a hellish experience. Here's hoping things go far better for you from here on.
Be safe, friend. -
Guess you were home sick for a reason, you got to help your mom, God's plan for sure. Have a good time.
