05 379 fuel pressure gauge.

    On an 05 379 with a C-15 Acert Cat, is the fuel pressure gauge on the dash a manual gauge or is it an electrical gauge? If it is NOT a manual gauge, where is the sending unit located?

    this is what i have learned. i changed to a aftermarket guage in my right tank. peterbuilt s sending units a thin pice of metal with little electrodes on it with a float attached. if the guage is not working on that side check the two wires going to it and or mabey its grounding out where it could have possibly rubbed thru

    We're talking about the fuel pressure gauge and not the fuel filter restriction gauge right?

    Yep it will be on the outlet side of the pump with a jic fitting style hose Probly 1/8
