Wow! What a difference!!! I recently relocated from Washington State where I hauled food grade tankers to Arizona where I haul baffled tankers for a local Government agency. Let me say, what a luxury! It's like having the stress level of a box hauler again! What a change of life, why didn't I do this sooner, it this what I've been missing out on?
From smooth bore to baffles.

baffles to smooth bore is night and day

The density (pounds per gallon) of the product, and the percent of innage/outage also makes a big difference - but in general, baffles are very nice to have.

Don't let them baffles fool ya. It'll roll just as easy as a smooth bore if you don't treat it like a tanker. But they sure make stopping and going easier.

It's really nice when you have baffles with bulkheads. You hardly feel the load.

What really is frighting with what I haul is we do a lot of off road driving, my sphincter really puckers at some of the angles we take our trucks on. It is a nice luxury to have.
