Just stopping by to say hello to everyone. Hopefully someday I will have the knowledge that some on here have passed onto myself. Any tips or pointers are welcome. Have a good day and keep it shiny side up.

welcome Oompa, best tip I can give is to keep an open mind with advice from your trainer and if your not sure about somthing ,ask. Good Luck
-
That's the mindset I'm going into this with. I'd rather ask 100 questions and be sure than not ask the one question that could save my ### someday. Thanks critters.
-
Good answer Oopma, flatbedding can be trying some times but I would'nt trade it for nothing.
-
I'm looking forward to the challenge. After the last day in cdl classes pulling an empty 53' dry van in 30-45 mph winds I decided that I'd rather go the flatbed route.
-
there are some loads flatbedding that will do the same thing, you will be fine Good Luck at TMC and be safe out there
Oompa Thanks this. -
Yeah I understand that the wind is going to be a factor in any trip but i imagine that an empty flatbed is a bit better than a dry van. I just didn't like the pucker effect that the empty dry van gave me driving down the interstate.
critters Thanks this. -
Good luck out there and enjoy driving those nice Peterbilts.
Oompa Thanks this. -
Thanks bigmod34 I will take pride in anything I drive.

Keep us posted on your progress. Good luck!
