I'm parked on the street, like I always do. Only time I go inside (with my truck) is to get fuel.

 

At the memphis trmnl waiting to pickup my load. There's like 20 million people in the drivers lounge.

 

Ogden, UT. What a day of winds. Just west of Cheyene, sign was lit up, lite trailer advisory, 50+mph gusts, Cheyene to Laramie. Really not sure what they consider light. If I was 10K I would have turned around and parked. When almost up to the top, another 2 signs, use right lane, accident ahead, and then another sign, blowing snow and black ice in spots. That raised the pucker level up some. They were not kidding about the blowing snow. Then the other side of Laramie, here is another sign, same advisory, from Laramie to almost Rawlins. After there, then just winds. The worst part, the winds started out blowing just West, then they changed, comming out of the SW.

Frystown ... drop tomorrow then head to NY to load for a drop in OH by Tuesday AM.

Still at the Denver terminal. Got a rude awaking this morning when I walked into the driver's lounge and found that the men's bathroom/showers were closed til the 19th. My first thought was "screw the 34, I'm moving to the TA". After breakfast @ IHOP and a decently long walk (I wanted the check out the old Denver tower up close) I decided to stay put til early tomorrow morning. Since I don't deliver til 10:00 am tomorrow I can go on the clock @ 6:00 am, move to the TA, take a shower, and still complete my 34.

I just wish I had figured this out yesterday. Oh well.

Pendelton, OR, the Arrowhead. I am so burned out. 1450 miles of headwinds so far. I am now up to 6.5mpg.
