past u in florence ky on 71 i was going south u were headed north i hollerd on the radio but no answer

 

Unloaded in Chester, VA. Sitting at the T/A in Richmond, Va until tomorrow morning, then it's off to Berea, Ky, then Louisville. The truck has a water pump leak, left hood latch doesn't work and is due for a service. Going to toss them the keys and say "Git'r Dun" as I head off to my place.

 

Got a hot paying load to denver and a slingshot load out to New Hampshire!

as for my delivery delima, I gave up and just left the bills in the truck in base at the docks. Also left a copy with the guards and a letter asking them to fax me a signed copy in the morning. Nothing else I could do really.

Loaded up my fuel tanks and headed to Houston. Be in Evansville by 630

You are more tustworthy than me, I would never leave a load without someone having signed off on it and the bills with me. No signed bills, no pay. I just don't trust anyone that much, especially the government.

 

Didn't have much choice, had a crane appt at 1300 today. They will sign the bills, never had an issue before with it. And LS wants to get their cut as well, and this facility is run by Lockheed Martin so I'm sure it will get done.

made it to the Flying J in Evansville, IN. Sure hope this wind lets up by morning.
