wife of a new trucker

my husband JUST now called...
he's so upset i can't even tell you guys
first off thank you all so very very much, (and yes i sorta told him to call on this guy-he said times are tough and he's worried about a job)
i didn't get to talk to him long at all as he said that he just NOW stopped for the night, he's got to get up really early and he's totally exhausted
i do think you all are right, and i think that this trainer is trying to make sure that he DOESN't turn the trainer in
i would dearly love to turn this guy in myself
but unless my husband says it's ok, i can't do that (dont' tempt me though- if this little pet of ours dies tonight,)

i feel so bad for my husband as he is so torn and so upset about this, all he wants to do is work, he works hard and always has...

again all of you i can't thank you all enough, i'm was so scared and worried ( i do feel better that i even briefly spoke to him) thank you all for your hand holding and advice
i am hoping that tomorrow i will get to speak to him for longer then 5 minutes and i can tell him what you all said.....
i am also hoping our little furry baby is still with us, i'm staying up with her tonight

 

i sorta think so too, as he doesn't seem to let up much... it seems to grow worse

 

i would love to.... i can't go over my husband's head or believe me i would be calling
i would have been calling the second week out when my husband tried to call home and i could hear the trainer in the background making fun of him while he talked to me
i was very upset
you can't do that to a person, it's just not human

i was thinking at one point that maybe i was crazy
that this was normal sort of ritual hazing

one of my online friends suggested i come here and ask you folks
and boy am i glad i did

cause really i didn't think this could be right- but what did i know?
my husband didn't know either so he figures this was normal too
but he was pretty upset at some of what has been going on
we didn't have anyone to ask about it

and our little furry baby is still alive, i am keeping hot packs around her
if she makes it to morning the vet said she may live

this is a very rough life, it's rough on the drivers and it's rough on the family

without being able to talk for more then 10 minutes a day (and not every day) it's been a nightmare
how on earth did folks do this before cell phones?

this is rough enough ..... it doesn't need to be worse then it already is
