Not much snow. But all the schools are closed in the south part of Kansas. Got here to deliver this beer and was lucky enough to get heguy unloading left to go home. No one showed up for work here and the consignee but the guy unloading. He is trying to get me unloaded before anyone else shows up sp he can go home for the day. So far it is about a inch on the ground. Icy and wet. It was wendy and snow covered and icy from Holcomb to Dodge city. Dont have a load yet to pick up But might be best to wait until tomorrow before taking off again.

 

Well was going to be getting geared up to go visit family in Virginia but was just told that we no longer have anything going to North Caralina for me to do that. So now I am sitting in Kansas in the snow. Empty with no load and now bumbed that I will not be able to go visit my family in Virginia. Glad I stocked up on them milk and cookies Gropher saw me with.

 

You would think. Last month before I was planning on going they said it was no problem. This month it is a problem. Oh well, thats why I plan ahead. Just going to cancel the plans for VA and have to come up with something else. Just makes me wonder what they are doing with the parts guy that runs from North Caralina to Denver every week if we dont have anything going or coming from North Caralina. Not going to push it too hard. I do live in Colorado but you can tell when someone doesnt want to work too hard on getting something to work out.

 

Well made some changes in my set up inside the truck. Got a idea from frogman on this one so thanks frogman. Now I have a floor clothes hanger set up. Cost $15.00 from walmart. Had to cut it down a bit to make it fit. But now I have my microwave hanging on the bottem of the top bunk by the right side sleeper door. With the clothes hanger system on the same side on top of the top bunk. All of it strapped down with 2 ratchit straps.



Not sure how it is going to work out but I posted the pictures of what I have done.

 

Got one of them "Last min loads" that picks up tonight after setting all day waiting on a preplan. Asked Greg about it and he said that the planner just got it from a customer who just picked up the load. It is tyson, snowing and going from Holcomb to Ottawa so you know tyson didnt want to run in snow so they gave it to use to jump thru hoops to make it happen. So I am now sitting at tyson in Holcomb waiting on it. Got 1 day as of yet to go 850 miles.....lol. Got to love the last min loads.Oh well, guess it will get their when it gets their. Have a good night everyone. Going to eat dinner then force myself to sleep.
