I worked for CRST Van Expedited from Jan.2012 to June 2012 and wanted to get my elogs from them for my taxes. They will not give them to me. Even when I worked for them I had trouble getting a hold of the eLog department for corrections. I know the benefits of eLogs and even the down falls, but CRST eLog department is terrible for getting any help. This problem should be considered if you ever thing of going to that company. If you move the truck more then a 5 feet it will put you on line 3 driving until you physically put your on line 1 off duty.

5 feet? How do they account for GPS drift?

The e-log department is understaff. Much Like most of crst office. But I want to addressee a few things.
First its not crst responsibly to send you your logs. You can download you elgos every 6months from this web sitehttps://dhos.myqualcomm.com/dhm/ Crst give you that info when you take your elog class.

Now your claim that it will out you on line 3 just after driving 5 feet is not right.
Then yes after you drive it will take you off line 3 and put you on line 2 when you hit your parking brakes. then you do have to physically put your self on line 2 or 1.

But back to the elog deparment. If you send in the E-Log correction macro (45?) I think, they will fix it. Some times it take a while but I dose get fixed. But there should be no reason you need your E-Log corrected by them unless the truck was in the shop. You should be smart enough to look at the quelcom and make sure its under your name and check every thing before you drive.

For exanple I stayed on the off duty line when I left the OKC terminal Drove to the dollar general Store and then from the dolars store to the pilot on the other side of the hwy. Now I do think if you go over 25 mph it will put on you one line 3.

Ok maybe the qualcomm doesn't put you on line 3 driving at 5 feet it is more like 1/2 mile.. That being said I still am mad with the eLog dept for not getting back with me about my past logs.. I have found out since that I can use pay settlements and receipts to prove I was away from home for taxes and Per Diem.. If you want to go to CRST more power to you, I actually had a good co-driver and made lots of money probably because we were both Haz Mat, Doubles / Triples and Tanker certified.. Just beware you have to stay on top of the eLog department

That is a bad deal, I have a lot of experience with eLogs and making corrections. I'm available every night and weekends for log corrections. This allows me more flexibility with my other responsibilities in life, and gives the drivers access 24/7. I do have night support screen the calls, as I don't need to be woken up just to have a driver ask me to falsify his logs (it happens). More companies should consider this type of model, no need for these employees to come to the office, just so long as they deliver results (answer the phone).

Like I said you can get your past 6months of your logs on this website.

Don't blame CRST for not having the correct knowledge on getting your logs. By the way I am not 'GOING TO CRST" I am at CRST.
Also If you are having issues with elog why not talk to your dispatcher. If your dispatcher said that your having issues with you elogs and need to talk to the log deparment.
There is a macro that goes right to management.

Sorry to here you still work for CRST. I don't and haven't worked there since June 2012. As far as getting a hold of dispatch, do I have to say more. Drive safe
