Another thing, don't buy premade coax. A example of premade coax is what you'd buy from the truck stops off the shelves. Go to a nonhack CB Shop and get them to make you some coax. Buy Belden brand coax. There's coax out there that supposedly to be "the same" but let me tell you, it's not. The generic stuff is made in China and is not made as well. Belden is USA made and is the best IMO. Always go by 3ft sections when buying coax. For example, if you need 13ft, buy 15ft. Like 3,6,9,12,15,18,21, so on. This will keep your SWR readings down.
