if i were you i would contact the school to get the certification, then google/ get a hold of a private recrutter, they are usually pretty good finding you a job with somebody. keep in mind your 1st 6mo.-9mo. is very important and by that i mean try to stay with few employers as possible once you have near 1 yr exp. move up to a better job then from there keep your mvr and dac CLEAN. and you will do fine

Poacher Thanks this.

I agree that clarifying it on your DAC is a 1st move.
2nd move. This may not work but, with regards to your training certificate, have you contacted the Labor Board for PAM's home state and asked them about your options of getting a copy of it?
For what it is worth, my ex-employer was considering banning GPS devices in their trucks for "safety reasons." They were considering whether to call them a "distraction" or not. They did not ban them. -
You can try Werner or Swift. You have to be careful using GPS. A lot of big companies wants you to use there directions only. GPS can very you from there directions or take you out of the way places. Use your GPS as a reference tool only. I messed up a couple times going with GPS. I found calling shipper/receiver to get directions and compare it to company directions than reference it to your GPS. There were a few times I used my GPS as an electronic road map rather than following the route it suggested. Another words... Company directions (if provided), Rand McNally road map (truckers version only), make the phone call if possible, than GPS (truckers version only) as reference tool. Even truckers version GPS's can put you into places you don't want to go. There have been time where GPS really helped me out. Good luck in your findings.

I went to Werner and was told in orientation I was going to go out with a mentor for 6 wek at $400 a week. and my recruiter told me $450 a week and 3 weeks with a mentor. I told them in orientation that I was dismissed from my previous job do to company policy. They ask if I had any traffic violations and I said no. Then they replied... I didn't hear a thing. Welcome aboard. I walked out during orientation because of the $400 and 6 week issue. They may be wrth a try for you to at least get your 6 month to a year of service in. After a year, you can go anywhere. 6 months you can go to places like Prime. You may even give Roehl Transport a try. The thing with Roehl is that they do run cameras in some of there trucks.
