Have you actually looked at the CSA unsafe driving violations being recorded for Tango and other companies? If you do you will see that the top violation is: Failing to use seat belt while operating CMV. This violation has happened 42 times with Tango. In my opinon, just because a person is not wearing a seatbelt (I wear my at all times even in my personal ride) does not make that person an unsafe driver.
How about looking at another company? I just looked at CRST Malone, that is the truck that is sitting next to me, and see they have a unsafe driving score of 87. I also see they have 59 reported violations of Failing to use seat belt while operating CMV. Does this also mean they are in "danger" of being shut down?
On one of your previous posts (09.09.2012) you said " The unsafe driving is like 79% and the substance use is like 44% ".
I have looked at the 44% part for alcohol/drug reports. What I found, was TWO (2) reports of alcohol/drug use or in possession of controlled substance (does not say what it was). Don't get me wrong, I am not defending these people. BUT, how in the heck does 2 reported cases with 786 power units equate to 44%????? The average person who would look at this without taking the time to look at the reports would think Tango has a bunch of alcoholic drug users. This just shows how screwy the CSA system is.
How about the name of the company your working for/leased to? What is their worst CSA score area? If you do not wish to name the company here, just shoot me a pmail and I give you my word of honor as a former Navy man I will never post the name here or anywhere else.
As far as the fines that a driver or company will incur from illegal logs: if your books are not right, you should get popped by the LEO's and learn your lesson well.
In reference to the lawsuits, I can only repeat what my personal attorney keeps drumming into my head "Anybody or any company can be sued at anytime for anything. It's just a matter of whether or not you can win the case or reach a settlement."

    wndrwtr,

The thing I know is, there is a lot of turn over at Tango. And I'm not speaking of employees. I talking about trucks that just lay down on their sides, in the road and ditches.

They may have gotten better after I left. But there was a period of time. They were losing a truck or two every other week. Because they were hiring drivers that "thought" paper roll stock handled the same as a load of ping pong balls in a curve.

While non of these may have impacted their CSA scores. CSA was certainly getting ramped up during that period, and they were extremely concerned about it..

I was considering going there when I get released to go back to work, but it looks like we just might butt heads about a few things. I don't mind paper (I prefer it), but I will only run legal. I have goals in life that don't involve contributing my pay to DOT.

They won't force you to run illegal. But you will have to stand your ground. Just don't think you'll be getting preferred loading status.

    Boondocks_4WD and tl385 Thank this.

Understood Forum Staff Leader.I just wish you would have warned me from the beginning because I would have understood better. I thought this was something similar to a chat room. Most everything I said on here is true to the best of my knowledge. It was probably a few things I exaggerated a little. If you really want to get down to where the rubber meets the road. Tango is no worse than some of these other companies. It comes down to the driver and what he likes in a trucking company. They all have flaws. It's just what the driver wants. I guess I over stepped my bounds a bit. I just want say I'm sorry Tango and I wish your company well. Drivers please ignore my previous post about Tango? I had no right to make comments like I did. I'm not to big to admit I'm wrong.

Tango is the worst company to ever put a sticker on the side of a truck. My dad passed away while driving for them. You wouldn't believe how disrespectful this company was towards us and my mother.

    Boondocks_4WD Thanks this.

Yes sir I have been studying the scores of several companies. Have you looked at tangos score lately? I think you will be surprised. Just saying my predictions are starting to come true. What is your outlook on this situation now?

You say that BUT when comparing to Jordan carriers its actually pretty even considering Tango has 3 times the amount of trucks (786 to 280) and 2 and a half times the amount of inspections (1609 to 767)

Why compare to a company with fewer truck and flatbed has more to inspect therefore more violations viable. Why not compare to a company with the same amount of trucks and on Elog. The truth will come out then.
