Sitting at home FINALLY!! Load from H E L L! Sat in Marshfield all day yesterday waiting for it. Relay driver got in around 9 PM from Kaukana. Said he called the shipper and tried to get it early and they said, "how late can you pick it up to still make 7 AM delivery tomorrow?" He got there at 4:30. Pipes for a Paper plant in Cloquet, MN. Oh, he had to tarp it to. 2 Lumbers and 1 steel. (He needs a little more practice on tarping, but did a good job for what he had to work with.) So I look at it, 4 1/2 hours to deliver.... What to do.... I take a nap and get up and moving at 1:30 AM.

Get to consignee at 6:15. Untarped and unstrapped by about 7:30-8 am. After a few cat naps.... at 11 AM they are finally complete. 112 pipes! and most were one at a time coming off. UGH!! Well two hours of Detention and 2 1/2 hours to get home. Got to St. Paul Park with 30 minutes left on my 14.

    See you all on Wednesday!

Sitting in La Crosse at the drop area. Ran out of my 70. Get almost 11 back tomorrow and then off to Oak creek for a relay delivering by Toledo on Monday. Ill be back in Gary tomorrow to fuel again as well. lol

Bayle I had a blue shirt and jeans with a hunter camo Roehl hat and a sweet red beard. I didnt know if any of those might be you and contrary to how I come across here I'm very reserved in person so I didn't want to start asking everyone if they were Bayle. lol

Well, James(co-driver) and I got a load from OK. to Omaha, NE to the Corp. Headquarters for Werner, dropped trailer in lot, called new Boss man in NC to tell him we made it here to turn in our Werner tractor on Monday and pick up the truck he has bought from fleet sales here....New boss sets us up in a hotel for the weekend so we don't have to sleep in the trunk....He wants us to be well rested/comfortable for the next 2 days, befor we haul a load to Charlotte, NC. then meet up with him on wed. for our 1 hour orentation before we hit the road again. I like this new boss already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much...Our new boss started out at werner back in like 2005 and drove for them for 3 or 4 years then strted with his O/O truck and then he and his brother went into business hauling werner's trailers etc, but to answer your question....Our new boss called our Fleet Manager and told them that we would be going to work for him starting monday and to route us, here to Omaha to pick up the truck and to find us a load out of here to Charlotte, so...I guess he carries a little clout with the company....See we will still have werner as dispatch....but we will get all the 1200 mile plus loads, and no sitting for hours waiting for hours for the next load....I can't wait to get started
