Good morning all. Well, still no load, nothing on MAC 30 and the weather has turned to crap. Heavy snow all day. Now even got a pplan with lots of MT miles, would have to turn it down due to road conditions right now. Everyone, be safe out there.

Was finally sent a pplan, actually 2, 1st one was repo trailer 270 miles to Worland. Then 2nd pplan was pu ldd trailer at worland and take to SLC for 1100 on Monday. Yes, refused. It costs me .82/mi to run this truck. Paid .82/mi to repo trailer. Not driving for free, plus with the snow that we received, not going to mess around with lots of two lanes up and down the hills with no weight.

Actually stopped this afternoon, and mostly melted. Sent another pplan, dh to worland, with instructions, we will pplan you out of here later. Nope, not happening. Need to see the rest of the load info. Been there, done that before on mt trailer moves.

while i was waiting to see what the snow was going to do, ended up talking to an owner op who does heavy haul. ended up telling him how i had never put chains on. he ended up showing me how to chain and then letting me do it. glad he did. i ended up leaving around 10 am and had to chain going over cabbage. switzer was pretty narly too, but no chain in effect. heavy wind going thru there and beyond. now sitting at an offramp due to running out of hours. hit the 1 minute mark when i hit the offramp and don't see no truck parking where i can see. oh weell. sent another mac 22 to put eta a few hours later.

Just picked up a P&G load going to SD, and the trailer has a flat tire.

I called on-road and told them I was going to a truck stop about 6 miles away, and they arranged for the repair to be done there.
Plenty of time on the load, but I didn't feel like spending a few hours at P&G.

gor to my del this morning 1.5hrs early and was refused. guear said "We dont take deliveries on the weekends".. guy was nice and all, so he said let me call back in the plant to confirm.. yup cant take ya bud.. took my # and name and said IF we can, ill call ya.. ok. so i called the terminal monkeys that work the night/weekends.. of course its just me talking and them asking me im going to do.

the funny part is.. i stopped at the lancaster terminal at 0300 on my way down here to waco, and i asked the the guy at dispatch about this load. it even states on my bol m-f deliveries only.. well after waking him up, he said i have to run this to the final at my scheduled apt time... are you sure?
yes, and you need to get going or your going to be late.. seriouly dude? its now 0330 and im 90mi away with a apt time of 0745.. hmm, apparently hes still sleeping, so i go shower, and roll out @ 0430 and driver 60mph the whole way and still got there early as hell..

no detention pay, but im going to fight for this screw up, as i just lost a 780mi going up to missouri that picks up in 2hrs. they wouldnt authorize aditional miles to take the load back to the yard.. so im kinda biting my tongue till i get ahold of my dl tomorrow..
lucky for me there is a flying j on the corner, so here i sit... waiting...

At home. Judging by how I feel and the fact I slept 8 hours without waking (something I NEVER do on the road and rarely do at home) I made it home just in time.

Still have to deliver my load Monday morning then taking a week off.
