Anyone ever get a green light at Boise I-84 EB / WB? Even when closed these coops send a red light. Even when I'm empty. Most times I'm empty and they red light me, and then send me to the bypass lane.

Getting to be annoying and tedious. I know, I know; first world problems suck.

Recently? Seems like the last 3-4 months they're not green lighting now. I only have a 5% pull in rate, and always get green practically everywhere else I go... except Boise. The last time EB red lighted me, I parked and went in and asked for a Level 1. They refused.

Is there a sign that says it's a Pre Pass Site? I didn't think Idaho was a member of the pre pass system. I thought they used NorPass or something like that. I always get a red light or no light in Idaho. I pull in either way unless it says closed.

If you are on the prepass system you will always get a red lite in Idaho. Like sheriff says, they are on norpass. Washington is the same. Oregon uses there own system called " green light ", you can get a free oregon transponder from oregon dot.

Yeah, I actually use the same transponder for Norpass and Prepass. I cross the WIM device doing 65MPH or less, no change. I used to get a green all the time there, but for the last few months it's been constant red. It's aggravating when I'm empty and they red light me, then bypass me. In Oregon my Norpass / Prepass green lights me there, too, so Oregon must accept Norpass also.

Yea everytime I go into Idaho open or closed, I get the red light on my Prepass. Just like everyone else said, I guess they run on Norpass system.
