got a couple of questions for all yea, my terminal is in st joe, mo but my company is out of IN. the load finder for us was wanting to know of companies out Omaha, NE and Wichita, KS we could start hualing out of so he could pick up some new accounts. For Omaha, i told him it would be Ft Dodge or Norfolk, NE would be the best bets and for Wichita, it would be Medicine Lodge or Mc Pherson for pipe and or hesston for AGCO. we run 48' flats, im still green enough i dont know of every little place, can be steel, flat/coils/slinkies, equipment sometimes and or every other house hold comdity

Are you asking for names of shippers that you could get loads out of in them areas?

I realize that you are new to the site, but asking in someone elses thread, a completely off topic question isn't the way to go about getting answers.

Here the link to the area you will want to ask about WTI

I have a friend at WTI he is half way through his lease HE is happier than a PIG in poop..... He says it is one of the only true "lease" programs he has found.. He makes a realistic payment and will own the truck in Dec of this year he makes 1200 month payments.. and he is making 850 to 900 a week after fuel payment etc... He does advise getting a good accountant so you don't lose your tail at tax time.. He has been with them for 2.5 years and is loving life..

I have a few shippers in the omaha area I deal with regularly. Have a few in the lincoln are a I deal with regularly. Sorry my rates are bad enough as it is right now to get me a load out of here. Can't go sharing my secrets specially if it involves some guy that's got a decent sized fleet coming in and choping rates down even farther. You can have norflolk though. Place called Nucore steel go right ahead and haul for them all you want. They REFUSE to pay detention, hold drivers up for 4-8 hours at a time, don't wanna pay to have the freight moved in the first place, and you're appointment time doesn't mean anything to them unless you're late for your appointment. Sure they can hold me up for hours upon hours and won't pay me detention but if I'm gonna be a few minutes late all hell breaks loose. Oh and get used to being asked "what's your truck tagged at" because they have a min scale weight. And they will load you heavier than what you're getting paid for. I told the last guy that loaded me there I'm getting paid for 48000lbs and you ain't putting an ounce more than 48000 on that trailer unless you wanna pay the extra $$$ for me to haul it. Thank god for a heavy truck and too much extra cost to get my gross pushed to 86000lbs. Last time I came out of there I scaled at 71560 they rolled the stock a little heavy...after sitting there for 3 1/2 hours waiting to get loaded and the moron at the scale house complaining about where I'd parked while waiting to ever driver but myself I've had it with that place. Yea tell your boss all about nucore steel in norfolk he can have them as far as I'm conerned.

Been years since I hauled Nucor crap. Last time was in Ky. loaded out in the rain and they wanted me to tarp it. I make the bills lded. in rain ld. wet.. They tore up the bills and made new ones. I wrote the same thing. Again they tore up the bills..
This was after sitting for 6 hours to ld. the crap..
    Yep haul their cheap steel...

Hauled a load out of Nucor in Charolette.

Got loaded fast and was told to not tarp the load which was great. The issue was the scale house lady was the meanest ##### ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Dropped the load at a Nucor facility in NW MO and they were great.

But I tell you that lady had something seriously wrong with her.
