A poster I saw said you get paid which ever is greater the miles you ran or 700$ a week, can anybody confirm this?
Also after phase 1 training you start off at .19 for all team miles with hazmat?
Recruiter told me team average 5000 miles a week?

I suppose if you had a couple years exp it would be; I have less than 6 months exp. I dont mind though if Im running 5000 miles a week.

you are a perfect fit for covenant then! go at it. 19 cpm is slave labor, even if its 5000 team miles... its nice that they added the 700 minimum though, thats new.. you will eventually learn you can make the same money or better being solo and not having to bunk with some random guy for a month at a time in your tin can.

welcome to the modern slave trade, dont worry you will have a listing with hireright so all other prospective slave masters will know how good of a worker you are so they can bid on you or throw your app in the trash.

simma down now, ppl dont have to be drama kings. Seems like a lot of truckers who have experience start tooting away about low pay, this and that. Oh how nice it is to be in your position why don't you send me an application to a job that pays according to your standards and will hire me with less than 6 months experience.

Yeah I worked solo .26 a mile and I didn't have the luxury of having unlimited dispatch miles so no I wouldn't be making the same running solo at .26 a mile 2000-2500 miles a week. I could've run over 3000 miles a week if the miles were there.

Its coo, I dont want to team either. I literally only have a handful of options at this point, covenant is one of them.

Anybody who know for sure about the pay, appreciate any info?

Wow, so much misinformation. If you dont work for covenant dont respond...

There are 3 phases at Covenant.

Phase 1 (30-35 days) - $450 per week plus 2cpm HAZMAT bonus pay all miles the truck rolls. If you are a veteran you get $500 per week no HAZMAT bonus.

Phase 2 (6 months) Covenant requires you to team for atleast 6months after training. Pay is 17 cpm or 20 cpm if you have hazmat. Thats 40cpm to the truck them split at 20cpm all miles the trucks roll. If you are a vet you get 20.5 cpm no hazmat bonus.

Orientation is also paid for . $100 for the 3-4day program and food and lodging is provided.

Phase 3 - pay goes up . you can either go solo or stay team. 48-52 cpm split. You can also apply to be a trainer but you will do 4.5 months more of teaming with various phase 2 drivers before you can be a trainer.

If youre coming to Covenant you need to be a hazmat team or trainer to make the good money.

Oh and the $700 per week is part of phase 2 as long as you are available to work but you should be making over that by then , if not something is wrong with you or the fleet manager. Or the truck is just broke down.

I apoligize for the punctuation and grammatical errors but im posting from a phone with a tiny keyboard and 3" screen
