It isn't greed on my part - he's burned ME - I've done nothing but keep a paycheck going for him while he was sitting there at home nursing his burns he never should have put himself in the position to get in the first place. He still has a roof over his head...I'm about to not to...

so my thoughts are, I'm going to lock the gate on my fence, I have a no trespassing sign. If he doesn't return my calls to make formal arrangements and just shows up, he won't be allowed on my property until he has certified funds in his hands...if he calls the police - so be it.

We don't need a drunk riding our hiways. Hope he looses the tractor.

I would push the issue not let on property not give keys block truck demand $$$$ . He might come up with it . All he can do then is call the cops if he don't have the $$$$ to pay you . The cops i guess will say give him his truck at that point ? Of course comply with cops orders . Then do what the others here say . Except the part of damaging his equipment however tempting it is ....Good Luck

Brother, I'm just a driver, but I know right from wrong. I would call legal aid and ask what to do!

Sounds like a pretty good show down in the making. Can you set up some cameras with live feed?

Your address say's California--- first thing is contact Ca Labor Board and report him as a non-paying employer.
Than follow there directions. Every thing that happens to you is a result of his " negligence". File with the Labor
Board ASAP--he is no longer your "friend" but a non-paying employer. Start at the Labor Board. They can give you
other options to follow. DO NOT WAIT- DO NOT WAIT

Drain the batterys so it won't start. A drunk can kill a lot of inocent people with a tractor.

Yup..... Leave ALL of the lights on tonight (interior, headlamps and any other non-LED lights). That should drain the battery quick.
