I have been on this site a lot and have researched a lot of companies. I hear a lot of the good bad and ugly. I drove for 10 years around the south Charlotte NC area just local part time driver and part warehouse and I got out of driving in 2004. I tried to find a job driving again but no one would take me so I went back to the basics I went to a Tech college for 5 weeks and 152 hours I finished up 2/6/13 with a 91%. Trying to find something local again but without much luck. Never drove OTR much but I may have to give that a try. I'm 48 years young and I like to travel. I'm looking at maybe driving for Rohel but I hear they have cameras in their trucks for the new drivers don't care a lot for that but I may have to suck it up for a while....Anyone have any advice???

    Check Careerbuilder and Indeed websites.
There's tons of trucking where you live or close by. Check Cardinal Logistics and Greatwide; they recently merged. Cypress flatbed has a terminal somewhere in your area and hires new guys right out of school. Also look at PGT, Boyd Bros., Maverick(reefer & flatbed).
