Great, even though I had already driven for ten years I learned a lot. Jim and Dave that teach the course both are good guys.
-
Ok. Im from right outside Charlotte so I think that's where I'm gonna end up going in may
-
If you live in North Carolina they can't take you...only South Carolina.
-
O ok I talked to a guy named Kenneth Strickland and he said it wasn't a problem. Said they would just take me to the nc DMV to test out

Good you will like the class I really learned a lot. I just finished up two weeks ago great guys and they are looking at getting some newer equipment when I left. You will get to pull a tanker and a flat bed. When do you start?
-
Well right now I'm overseas with the military but I get home in April so I'm going to try to get in the class that starts may 13. And I appreciate all the info, I've been looking at other schools in the area like Charlotte truck driver training and kinda stressing about which one is better but I think you've helped make my mind up to get to York. Seems like the best choice

Twalk , you found you a gig yet ?
-
Yeah and it's a Technical college and a I believe 180 hours? That looks a lot better than 120 hours on your job app.

Still looking...I'm trying to stay away from the big companies and hopefully find something small and family owned.
