I am trying to find a small microwave and I am looking for suggestions that I might have overlooked. I have looked online through all the major retailers wallmart, target, Kmart etc.

I am looking for a small microwave .07 or under. My problem is finding a microwave that has a width of under 15 3/4".

Length and height is not an issue however the closet in the sleeper where I want to install the microwave is not very wide. I've found a few that are 16"+ but they will just not fit. I cannot modify this closet either.

Wondering if anyone has found a microwave that is not very wide that might work for me. The past few years I've been running with my trusty road pro cooker but I think it's time to upgrade for the speed of a microwave.

    Any direction would be appreciated

Was in the same boat as you in my Cascadia. wound up stowing 16" microwave sideways during transit and bringing it out when I needed to cook. Same microwave fits with ease strapped on the prostar's shelf

I like my 700 watt digital GE from Walmart but it's 18" wide by 11.25" deep.

A long time ago I made a hanging microwave stand that worked great. I used a shelving board, some eye hooks and some small chain and suspended it from the top bunk down where your feet go. But it was high enough your feet could go under it comfortably. I think I had it fixed to the wall where it couldn't move. I can't remember, lol. I just remember it worked great. Maybe you can think on that idea and figure it out.

Edit: It's coming back to me. :) I glued and nailed 1"x 2" around the sides of the board to keep the microwave contained. That's where the eye hooks were attached. Then extend the chains at an angle and it can only swing a minimal distance. They act as shock absorbers too. Bump it against the cabinet and braking won't affect it.

My Walmart cheapo was made in 2006 and has dents in it where it warped the ground a few times. It still works great. I would buy a GE anytime for a truck.

We have ours strapped to the underside of the upper bunk... Two tire thumpers used as spacers.

I'm wondering if the makers of "The Easy Bake Oven" make a "Easy Microwave Oven" :biggrin_2559:

Tinfoil and the engine works good. The manifold is medium high and the turbo is high.

If one has a 2500 watt inverter they can graduate to a hot plate and start frying!

I had this one and made stuff like stir fries and spaghetti with it.
