There's a big billboard near Gary, IN boasting about the $2 miles and local work..... umm, local runs should pay upwards of $6 mile i think
volvodriver01, aiwiron and BAYOU Thank this. -
Can get 3.00 a mile local in Florida LOL, 6 possible but rare.
-
Is that round trip tho, or just 1 way????
Really, i only need to clear $500 a day after fuel to cover the bills and put some money in my pocket. But for $500 a day, I want to only run 150 miles out n back and sleep in my own bed (300 miles total) but the maain problem i run into is all the loads pick-up one day and deliver the next, instead of same-day, which makes it pointless...So i would need $700 a day to the truck, which is very doable where i live, but I always go chasing the big payouts instead. No matter how much I try, those $4 mile loads going 2,500 miles pop up and off I go. I really need to stop that crap lol379exhd Thanks this. -
Have to keep in mind that is one way, also fuel is higher than water in hell for Florida.
Now if your truck can run local you can build a round trip out of it, just going to take some time. -
Why 2011 ? What about 2012 ? Average gross $2 a mile . Average annual gross $148,000 . 74,000 miles or less than 1,500 a week ?
Truckinchic and 379exhd Thank this. -
I think the money is $60k to $80k too low. And that's for the average and the top contractor.
