For all of those looking for a company to start with I would like for you to consider Stevens. I have a friend with me in class that is doing YouTube videos of his experience. We are in our first week of class and this is us doing parallel parking in a Stevens truck. I will share as many videos as I can. Any questions ask and I will answer or find out an answer if I do not know.

That would be one of the trainers. Her name is Susan. She has been very knowledgable and helpful, especially during this first week.

Good deal. It's easier learning and understanding things when u have a trainer that is'nt yelling.

Just remember they don't put out cones at truck stops or shipper/receiver docks, and there's usually somebody parked in your cut-back zone. The easiest back - parallel parking sight side.

That course they are doing it on and the way they are doing it mimics almost 100% the one they will do on thier road test for their CDL. They will learn to finer points on the road with their trainer.

I am actually just taking the course as a refresher as I have been driving a straight truck for last year with no over the road experience. So I myself will not be going to DPS to take the driven test. I just get to go thru what Stevens has me do. I am aware this controlled environment is not going to be near what the real world will be like. Just enjoying my time till I get out on the road with a trainer. Hope everyone is having a good day, and looking forward to meeting my fellow Stevens drivers along the way.
