oh yeah we still have plenty of work but that run hurt a lot of or senior guys,we had to rebid some routes but our companyb has a freight side so you camn make up the loss. most mail carriers pay about the same but some try to rip you off in different ways. we get paid $19.68 hr plus $5.03 an hr for health & welfare ,

i did a Christmas Rush run this past December , paid 19.79 +4.46 for h/w. relay point was 10min from my house
they told me they were bidding on routes and there might be something for me if they get them

Yeah it depends on what part of the country you are in,im in md so we run all the places most drivers hate to go dc,nj,nyc. So you have to run because you are always in traffic,also some o!f the postal people can get on your nerves! But better than food whse!

Well my husband said there are talks about how the usps is having tax cuts like taking away the Saturday deliveries and that might hurt the hcr industry I just hope it wont affect you guys.. He gets 19.81/ hr with 4.98 for hw

how's that 5.03 work ..or breakdown exactly?

You get $5.03 an hour for up to 40 hrs a week. It is supposed to pay for your health insurance or go into a retirement account. Different regions of the country have different pay scales and a new wage determination has just been released so a lot of drivers will see a small increase in pay.
