SWTDI or WTS in Las Vegas

    I am heavily considering going to W&S to start my career as a truck driver, and my short term goal is to move out to Henderson, NV. I know that W&S have a terminal out there and I am currently in Florida. I was talking with an recruiter today, and he suggested that I should use a friends address when I am ready to go on with them and he hooked me up with a list of approved schools. I am debating whether I should do my schooling while I am here in Florida, or just head out west and go to school there. If I want to work for this company, I will have to move anyway. I know if I go to a 4 or 5 week school, I will have to quit my current (dead end) job also. As for schools, how is Southwest Truck Driver Training, and/ or Western Truck Schools?

    Dark_Reaper, my recommendation is that you try your hardest to do your CDL training in Florida on a part time basis. Although a dead end job, its going to give you some money while you attend school. Furthermore, what if you move, find out for some weird reason truck driving isn't for you?

    There are a few options for trucking schools. Once you complete your CDL training and have a license, then you make the "big move" and make sure everything is lined up with W&S, which I love!!!
