look at companies websites... some will never take you with a drug charge ever ... some say over 10 yrs.... start reading requirements on their websites... as far as your 2004, depending on what that was, it could hurt you .... when you state you have a 2004 charge, you need to state what it was if you want us to give you any advise.... that 2004 charge could be a dui for all we know and if that was the case alot wont take you off that either ... just saying........

Actually, most companies (or many) don't even ask about misdemeanors. They don't ask, you don't tell. Up to you how to handle the felonies, but like I said, you get caught fudging, be honest about it including the reasons why. You gotta eat.

Big Companies like Swift, JB Hunt, Schnieder are all off-limits to you bro, better to look for local smaller companies & consider relocating to areas that desparately need Truckers ( Minnisota', Mississippi, The Dakotas, Texas) focus on those. Reason i say this is because i'm at the opposite end of the spectrum here (not judging dude, not my thingl) but my experiences in appyling to the bigger companes, the big "no can do" was an arrest record, plain & simple.
Recruiters don,t care that you've turned your life around, they just won't bother. Good luck & keep at it!

Have you tried at Gresham Transfer they are located in gresham. I worked for them for over ten years.., when I started with them my record was questionable. They are/were a union company so you would have to start as a causal employee. They run local transporting dry cement, soda ash ect. This would be the time of year is apply as the construction industry as well as the farmers are starting up again. The way I worked my way into the company was to tell them I would prefer nights and weekends as their full time employees didn't want to work them. They also have a Heavy Haul Division, BUT it's harder to get on there as they want extensive experience. Good Luck BBQDAVE
