    It appears the engine is missing a turbo!!! I would get the engine number and see what is in there. It's either a converted Accert, or a 2002 or older engine. I suspect someone has already been tuning on it.

    Couldn't it be a bridge engine? Those only had one turbo.

    Not in '05. Those were '03 and I believe some early '04s. I believe most '05s had BSX engines, and maybe later '05s may have had MSX, but I'm not sure on that.

    yes it looks like it was converted. if the guy has the paper work and passes a dyno i say thank u and buy that truck quick.

    Truck was getting dyno'd this week along with oil samples. I will be calling the dealership in the morning for those results and the engine serial number. Sure would be awesome if it was a pre-egr motor in it! Thanks for the help. The truck is 650 mi from home so I don't want to go just a waste a couple days for nothing.

    The Acert was to avoid using EGR.

    looks like an ex-TMC truck eng should be a BXS that has been converted, if it checks out it looks like a good deal. know that those 387's had issues with wiring to the fuse boxes on the firewall, brainbox behind glovebox, and communication to the speedo head which is the dash ecm itself, if it hasnt been butchered and checks out, looks ok.
