How do you know he's all set.Have you looked at FFE requirements? There has to be something about your mvr. Many companies won't hire untill 3 yrs have passed if you have a reckless charge on your MVR.Then many you have to wait 5 yrs.I just looked up FFE qualifications and all it says is good driving record.
mje Thanks this. -
I'll even add this to what I said earlier....

entrepreneurship is one of the areas of focus you can zero in on.
This would assist you in writing a better business plan, focus on locating resources to finance a truck and methods to get the skills you need to get your CDL.
Any paper or "project" you have to work on, focus on being an O/O.
You would get two or more years to plan your start in trucking. -
mje Thanks this.

And btw ffe's policy is like many others its all Based on a case by case examination of each person as they appy for a position a "good driving record" can be construed by many people to mean many things..

if i can also throw my 2 cents into this thing here .... chinatown gave you some companies to look at for your driving record, which are all goos starter companies. then, once you find one, the coil hauler is right, use the G.I. bill ... what was not said so far to this young man is IF HE DECIDED to go to the school and agree to a 1 yr contract, if something happens that he leaves within that year, they will bill you the amount you owe and will take it to creditors and etc and it will go on your credit report. you just got out of the military, you are young and have along life ahead, dont let some messed up company put that crap on your credit report because you ended up not likeing that company and left within the 1st year.... just something to thiink about that was not brought up on this thread yet ...
BubbaJosh87 Thanks this. -
I'm sure after being in the military for 8 years this young man knows what a 1 year commitment is . About 1 year is not hard to do anybody can do it standing on your head I too was in a military when you have that kind of discipline it's not hard to do what has to be done.
