Don't you love backing into that horrid dock in Big Island.

Wow, I went to Big Island twice per week. Running them backroads 122 and 501 etc. I also picked up alot in Lebanon PA, and dropped off 2-3 times per week in Muncy, PA. Is Scott or Chris still the DMs in Bradford? I hated Milford NJ, I always got stuck there trying to hook up to a trailer. Muddy as all hell unless they paved it.

I dont know a Scott or Chris, Tamara was my dm, now it's Nicole, and they are in Indiana. All these places your talking about going to, I dont know them except for big island. I go to Rincon Ga, Quakertown PA, Plattsburgh NY, Orlando, Miami, and Tampa Florida, along with other various places. New Jersey is my most hated state.

I dunno. I was on the dedicated Georgia Pacific account based in Bradford, PA. They must of gotten bigger then when I was there.

you're not the only one that enjoyed their time at Cr England.
I enjoyed it a whole bunch. and I would work there again, I enjoyed running my own truck. but the company I'm with now gets me home every week. usually we go to the west coast and back to SC every week have a day and a half off then back out.

    Bigdubber Thanks this.

There's more people who have had good experiences with C. R. England than what others might think. I got my start with C. R. England. I never stepped on their toes, nor did C. R. England ever step on mine. They treated me right, treated me fair and got me to where I am today. I don't work with them anymore, but I don't regret having signed with them. Good outfit to get schooled, trained and your first few years of driving experience.

    1catfish and Bigdubber Thank this.

Thank you all for giving some possitive input on England. I've read the horror stories and it's nice to see that you do get what you put in.

The great memories of CR England still linger. Does anyone remember that old guy called Mr Proctor? It became a standing joke that if you got past Mr Proctors investigation you were in!! I'm talking 1997 so it's a long time ago. He's probably gone, maybe dead and buried by now. The good thing about CRE at the time was at least the school was good and it only cost $1200 so I'm sure it's probably trebled by now. Then when you hit the road on your own it was really slave labor pay. I started at 21c mile. I laugh about it now. They get you thru the CDL test and then use you to suit them. Didn't get all that many miles either. One month I only got 6000 miles and the dispatcher thought that was good ! She was just out of training so she had no clue about trucking.
Its a good way to get your CDL but in all honesty, just like I do, you can find better opportunities out there.
    Good luck
