At Pilot near Sturbridge, MA. Deliver doors to 4 cons in and around Boston tomorrow, then up to Burlington, VT. Really enjoying the training experience; my trainer Jim is a great guy. Went through the mountains in eastern PA today...the Cummins in that 2014 ProStar really pulls nice, even down at 1000 RPM...was able to keep it in 10th gear the whole time.

Our truck has the turn-by-turn directions on its TruckPC, but because you can't see the fuel/routing plan at the same time you have the GPS application up, the only way to get the turn-by-turn to follow the supplied routing from Roehl is to copy the directions onto a piece of paper, then adjust the route in the turn-by-turn app to agree with the supplied directions (the route that the turn-by-turn comes up with on its own is nowhere near the route supplied by Roehl, at least in my experience so far). If they could preload the Roehl fuel plan route into the turn-by-turn application that would be sweet.

In Ellenhood deliver tomorrow if a relay doesn't develop. Back roads through GA from fl to I-16 today I think not, took the scenic route. 13 miles in Ga on 75 I got a 63 miles out of route message I which I ignored. Based on loaded miles only a 10 mile difference from ellenwood term to j-Ville drop yard pretty much. I picked up pretty close to it. Con is 20 miles from here so 30 miles out of route total. Went the same way home last time fm told me to go that way. Did the same today oh well. I've driven 3 times from jville to home empty and unpaid so #### it.

Yeah, I called on that route before, if you remember I posted it here, I was asked why would I want to drive 34 miles farther, etc... I let it go. If they want to burn more fuel and take more time on a route, meh, so be it.

With the time left over that I had after a live load this morning and driving and dropping in jville my parking options going the back way would've been slim to none. Not only takes more time to drive the back roads but probably have to shut down early and still drive 1-2 hrs and fuel to make the drop. I know I burned less fuel and saved my time as well being closer to con not having to worry about parking around atl late evening. I always get the no answer when calling fuel n routing so I didn't bother with that. 99% of the time I follow the route to a T but this time went againest the grain.

    Bayle Thanks this.

waiting for the snow to start falling, and trying to figure out how to run a monthly report to total the violations per driver for a fleet of 500 without making it retarded big. So far I'm failing at everything. On the other hand I got all my farms set with trailers, so even if we can't get to them they'll have storage. buy more milk, make me happy.
