The new rule says drivers will be able to use the restartonly once every seven days, and it must include two periods from 1 a.m. to 5a.m. If you are an OTR it just says you can't reset your 70 twice in a 7 day period. So you either keep running using come back hours or you take 2 days off. I usually run a 3 week schedule. Sometime I can make the full 3 weeks without taking a sanity break (34 hr). Other times taking 2 days on the road just make sense to keep from loosing it. I'm out here to make a living and try to do it in a sane manner. The extra sleep never hurts and I don't really see any significant change in pay the way Roehl plans loads. Just keep rolling from week to week and it all averages out over time.
