maybe so but if they read it right. it says 65-68 if ur air is running at that PSI u have major problems lolDirtyBob, Ghost Ryder and SGTSmokdU Thank this.
-
Yeah I know, that was my thought exactly too. I'm sure that would be a huge problem on hills.
-
your saying AIR drier. hes not talkin about anything to do with air though. thats all im saying hes talkin about Truck SPEED governor to stop the truck from going past 65.
-
The post I quoted was from some guy complaining about a truck parked next to him and the air compressor kicking out every 11 seconds. He commented "Talk about a leak". My response is that the problem with THAT truck might not be a leak, but the air dryer.
TruckerPete1990 Thanks this. -
####, I'm bad. I posted thinking it was his air govenor..
Reread the post. I believe he talking speed limiter.. -
could be the air governor needs replaced or to be adjusted. or if it was cold enough could have been freezing up but he did not mention it making any noise. a little more information would be helpful
-
also reread the post and he did not say it was air but i just assumed it was the air governor
-
Correct guys, I never mentioned anything or meant to imply anything having to do with air pressure, all is good there. I would try to get a run downhill in the passing lane and hung out to dry when had no power until the hill decreased my speed to 65 or 68 MILES PER HOUR...only sometimes. I know some trucks behind were not too happy. I did get on the radio and apologize.

What would be involved to disconnect the governor all together? The owner does not prefer it there anyway.
