I started with them just over a month ago. They just invested in all new tractors, 2013 ProStars autos, no idle heat and air, they do use electronic logs. They do alot of LTL but we get paid for everything we do. They aren't a run 2500-3000 miles a week company, we make alot of our pay in stop pay. They pay .02 a mile for running in the Northeast, which is a large part of where they go, but if you do not want to go to NYC, you don't have to. They ask that in orientation. If you have hazmat, that is an extra .04 a mile for any load that is hazmat. One thing I like the most, is that they give you your loads, then pretty much leave you alone. The money is there to be made. My checks have ranged from $800-$1200 a week, and that isn't killing myself either.

been with them 3 years, no complaints, average 2250 miles a week, average take home pay was $750 a week for the last year. I second what Jebster said, they leave you alone and let you do your job. 2-3 night weekends and a night at home most every week. where you from in PA? lots of freight going across 80.

CarterBeauford - Is that type of hometime typical with Cheeseman? Or do you need to be with them for a while, or have a dedicated run to get home so regularly? Thanks, gg

CarterBeauford, I am starting CDL training Monday and should be done in about 4 weeks. I live about 10-15 miles south of I80 in western PA. Would Cheesman consider a newbie like myself in my area? Thanks
