How many miles are really on this truck....

    yea its got quite a bit of idle time, but if it has good maint records i wouldnt be scared of it.

    What is considered avg for a truck without a APU?....15-20%

    15-20% would be a little high for a apu equipped unit. 5-10% if the driver is paying attention.

    Maintence and records are the most important thing to consider when buying a used truck. If you have ALL history on the truck, and all looks good, I wouldn't be afraid of making the purchase.

    If its arounds 650-700k miles make them do kingpins.

    Have them run you a chassis dyno and get the full print out.

    Check the manufacturer for any recalls or campaigns and have they been completed. Same with federal recalls. I have a link for that someplace.
