Update! Been running for about two months, they seem to need drivers constantly. Rapid burn out, running 70/8 in what is basically a short haul operation. one day off per week. if you have hours available you run. when you don't .. after 10 off you run. trucks slip seated, repaired as they break down. running different equipment nearly every time out. Constantly tired, often confusing and inaccurate dispatch. To their credit however they DO seem to at least "try" to work with their drivers. Pay is good (unless you consider the amount of hours you put in to get it).
Any type of quality of life is not possible as your only time off are your 10's and your 34 during which you either need to sleep, or prepare to go out again. .. And the saga continues .............LoneCowboy Thanks this. -

I am currently working for CTI trucking of Rillito AZ, not to be confused with the CTI OTR company they are two different companies, anyway I just wanted to pass on some current information on the company, they do pneumatic, tankers, belly dumps, and end dumps, depending on what terminal you are at will determine what you will do, I am currently at Safford terminal and I haul sulfuric acid, it's a cool job and actually pretty easy, however pay is a little different here, it's not hourly, well at least not most the time, orientation pay is payed at $12.00 an hour, then you will be placed with a trainer for about two weeks, training pay was $17.00 an hour, once you are on your own you will go to load pay which is $1.00 a mile, however you only make that when loaded, they don't pay deadhead miles so if you go out loaded but come back empty they don't pay it, so in all reality the run is 50 cents a mile if you factor in deadhead, also they don't pay the first hour of loading or unloading on each end, but if you go over the hour it's paid at 17.50 an hour, there is also a $8.25 that they pay each day for fueling and pre trip, health insurance is through Cigna and it is a 70/30 plan and it is a PPO plan hope this helps anyone considering working here.

USMC 3531, I'm just curious if you're still working for them. I received an email from them this evening and am going to call them tomorrow, I'm considering working out of the Kingman location hauling doubles/triples. So far I've only been able to find negative info about them. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
