.34 is ok for a 4 month driver but keep the mind set that your worth more and don't settle for it.

You can make $1 per mile but if you don't get miles don't matter how much you make. More money equals more money not higher cpm so hopefully you get miles.

600 mile average is very good. Grass n
ot always greener. -
A company that offers higher pay doesn't mean squat! They can offer you $1.00 a mile but if you aren't running any miles and they don't have the freight you aren't making jack! Most companies that offer more usually don't have the means to keep you busy. In the grand scheme of things you end up making quite a bit less.
With that being said $.31 running team is low! A team running for a mega-carrier should be doing 1000 a day and be splitting $.38 - $.40 at the minimum. I'm running team right now and we split $.48 a mile and my company is surely not a real high paying company. -
$.31/mile was your team pay? Good number..does that mean the team got $.62 and that was your half? Why leave? Where does the line start?
There are a few of the big national carriers starting drivers at mid-$.30's now. Mid-$.20's last year for most. Roehl has good driver retention, which is about the only reasonable way to tell what's going on from the outside. -
I made .31 and my partner made .34 because he had 2 years exp. We averaged 1200 miles a day everyday. I wanted to check out Roehl for their home time options. I love driving trucks, but hometime is just a little more important for me. I HATED teamdriving, but Schneiders solo pay blows
