Join the club. I've been out seven weeks now and like you, had one good week about three weeks ago. I had a run in with Christina the other day that was kind of amusing. I won't give details but wow, she kinda lost it. I, however, an not going anywhere. I've seen what else is out there and it's way worse then here.

Christina is a joke, i even had a load that i was suppose to get 10 hours of detention on but she would only give me 8 hours because her computer told her my load was ready at 8am, i told her and said i would fax it to her if she wanted but the paperwork has a printed time on it and it said 10:30. I still only got 8 hours. I sat in the t/s shop for 6 and a half hours 3 days ago and was told i had to be there longer then 8 to get paid breakdown pay. When i first came to jbs it was after 4. in the passed 36 hours i will only have driven 50 miles and i was told i dont get layover because it hasnt been 24 hours between my drop off and my next pick up, which i kind of understand that except for the fact melissa would have given me the layover just to compensate for the 50 mile day. I hate christina and im sure its more my problem with her then it is JBS but i HATE that lady.

Wow sorry to hear the winter months and bad dispatchers are killing the mood. It's pretty much the same story every time JBS comes up with those dedicated run things. They start off good, but goes down the drain. Melissa has spoiled us so getting use to a regular dispatcher is a drop off. My 4 weeks I was out averaged out to be 1700 miles a week. That 300 mile week killed me. I did get a safety bonus that helped the next check look pretty. Then I was headed home for home time. So those weeks are usually short. Think I got 2,000 for that week. Left home Friday and I deliver tomorrow at 7 pm this Pilgrims pride load and I should have 2400 something paid miles for the week. So for me things are looking up if I can keep this up. Hope things get better for you two. Like beerslave, said there's a lot worse. So I'll hang in there. March will be year number 3.

Just got my first hours violation for the year. I jacked around on the trip planning. Assumed something without double checking. Only went over by 1 minute though. Could of been a lot more. Anyway have fun folks and good night.

I understand your pain Armyguy. I had Christina for a dispatcher and it wasnt a good thing. Ended up having a meeting with the head guys at the time because of the stuff she was pulling. She eve said she wasnt doing that but I had qualcomm msgs to back up my story. I did end up leaving mainly because of her. I dont think she does a good job and do beleave she screws over her drivers more then she helps. But that is my oppinion of her. I hope things get better for ya or at less you find a better place. Like beerslave and dinotime said. It is hard to find a good place to work for.

    ArmyGuy and Dinomite Thank this.

Just got home after 8 weeks out. After 6 terrible weeks, finally put out the last two at almost 3000mi each. Are things starting to look up again?

Might be the only load you get for the week given JBS' history

Good miles last week, 3179. This week sucked, truck in shop 2 days; too long at receiver to pick up next load on time; load way late out of Hyrum... On the bright side I have been able to stay out of the bad weather!

    ArmyGuy Thanks this.
