That's the Dillon from Mt. Julliet, Tn, right? They run I-40 to Kingman, Az using Ryder power units. They only been around 12 years as a carrier. Henderson trucking also uses Premium Services for payroll. Dillon wouldn't hire me 'cause I had too many jobs. Even though I'm the bestus little trucker in Az. Dang....:biggrin_2551:

Yes, Mt. Juliet is the main office. I let them have the truck because they lied and said the team picking it up would be back up in Toledo in 2 days. I live 45 miles from toledo. The dispatcher, who I've always gotten along with, said they were good long term employees and would take care of my stuff..not to worry, the truck will be back in 2 days. Rather than get a bus home like they said, I had a friend pick me up.

The clear a few misconceptions up, Yes, you were a employee of Premium Transportation Staffing, but have you ever heard of co-employment? Even if Dillon used the ruse that you were only a Premium employee, Dillon controlled your daily activities, not Premium. This is where the co-employment comes into being. The company Doctor you spoke of is controlled by Dillon. Also, if Dillon had released you back to Premium, in effect, it has the same weight as being fired. Of course Dillon management does not want to look like the bad guy. Premium was only doing what Dillon required of them.

Please tell me all this has changed? Because of my former 1st Sgt's recommendation, I have talked with a recruiter at Dillon and am waiting to hear back from them. I will have to ask my former 1st Sgt about this, he has worked with them since they bought out Ryder in 2007. He says it is a great place to work and say's I will be happy.

All these trucking companies are jumping on the Sleep Apnea band wagon. If you have sleep apnea and are treated you are as good as anyone. These trucking companies don't want to face the 12 hour shifts some of them make you work like Dillon and CTL. They don't want to face the erratic sleep patterns they create by forcing you to work odd hours. That is the real killer. Not Sleep Apnea.

Wow Dillon bought out Ryder, didn't think a 100 truck company was capable of buying out a large transportation company like Ryder, you might want to get your facts straight

you said Dillon bought out Ryder, A 100 truck company bought out a multi billion dollar global transportation provider with locations in over 100 countries?

Ok, I get where your coming from now... My son used to work for ryder in cleveland so, what I am saying, or meant to say, was that Dillion (according to my former 1st Sgt) bought out the Ryder Unit next to Dillion. 1st Sgt said he still parks his car in the same parking lot as he did when he worked for Ryder. So, I am referring to The Ryder that was located next to or at, where Dillion is now, not the whole company.

Ok that cleared it up...I was confused for a minute. I looked at these guys and was scheduled for orientation, but I decided to buy my own truck. They seem like a great outfit
