Next time you get by Walcott (or any Iowa 80 brand T/S), pick up this little book. It makes quick reference easily for quoting OS and figuring out escorts, driving times and such. You will still need to read all provision sheets, but this book is awesome to have for a reference...

As for the rste, everyone is right and that is extremely low. Should be closer to the $4.50 range due to the fact you will be wasting 2 days pulling it with curfew times on 600 miles. Just my .02

 

with Mercer permits and escorts if needed is payed by Mercer. I enjoyed my time there Good people.

 

the 4 coroners of vehicle and the widest point of load, I use from 6-8 flags,but im also usually over 11'9 wide.

 

Remember ohio states that the 4 corners of the vehicle are the 4 corners of the trailer. Just some FYI we found out.

 

if you want the advice from someone who does this,don't go bare minimum on anything,chains,straps,flags. it will attract attention from the DOT, overkill will most times get a wave or quick looks from them.
