Nuts. Werner will hire rookies and make them trainers after 6 months, but wouldn't hire me because I had a license suspension (non-CDL, non-moving violation) 2 YEARS AGO! In the meantime, I got a great local job fresh out of school. Thanks WERNER!
Stay Away From Werner!!

I bet that local job pays alot more then Werner ever will too.
-
Some things with companies never change and thats the pay.Does'nt make since that you're making less now then when in training.Me too, when I was there. You sit more then ever driving.I use to tell my dispatcher if you all enjoy me sitting then just route me home so I can sit there.Blame all the sitting on dispatchers and load planners.Cowboy13 Thanks this.

I could not agree with you more pattyj and for the shop time I never got paid the 25$ a day I have had a check that was neg because te hotels and not enough miles just AWFUL
-
Are you still on the pnone for an hr or more waiting for rd brkdown?Freightliner and Perterbilt hated dealing with them and many of the TAS as well. How about swapping and splitting, you still doing alot of that?Oh and lets not forget that wonderful safety line at the omaha term, they'll red tag your trk no matter what, then theres another couple days of sitting.
-
yup it is all still the same bs and now when you see a message to dispatch they take about a hr to reply and if you call in they ##### you out -
hope you never get a wrong po number.I cant even begin to tell you how many times I had to sit all day waiting for a po number.I bet youre sitting right now waiting for a load. Then you get a load only to see its a 100 mile run,WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Cowboy13 Thanks this.
