If they paid a bit more, I would consider applying with them but I was told they start at .32 and top out at .35 or .36. That will not cut it in this day and age.

Isn't that an FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) issue? You can't be fired for an on the job injury unless it was due to negligence or drugs/alcohol on your part.

Accepted an employment offer from Pride Transport today, but will not be starting until Monday, March 11, 2013. As I go through the processes.... I will update this thread. As indicated somewhere in this thread.... their CSA Score is immaculate. Looking forward to new beginnings and hopefully lasting relationship with this company.

Based upon the sounds of it.... Reefer. They didn't ask me / tell me about Flatbed. My experience lies with Reefer though, so I am not sure whether I could do Flatbed even if I wanted to!

Well... change in plans. I received an offer from James H. Clark Trucking and have decided to take them up on their offer instead. Thus.... I won't be able to comment on Pride!

Well, I am 2 days away from jumping onto a bus to Salt Lake City. I am doing my externship with Pride Transport. I hope everything goes well. Having just got my CDL, my skills are terrible and I hope they are flexible and are will help me polish them up and learn a lot. I originally had an offer from Swift and from Covenant as well, but picked Pride because they are smaller and Diane, the recruiter, actually took the time to answer my questions. I hope I will be more of a person there and less of a number.

Anyone have any info on the Drive test, Range test, and Agility test that pride does.

Also FYI, Pride does now do hair drug testing. No prob for me, I don't do drugs.
