My condolences to you, I have a five year old yorkie cross and am dreading the inevitable day of his death. I was diagnosed with clinical depression several years ago, and while medication deals with the symptoms, Buster lifts my spirits every time I look at him. He also gets me off the couch and out for a daily walk. I am always amused by his antics and enthusiasm. I've met more people via walking him over the last five years in my neighbourhood than I ever did the previous fifteen, when I didn't own a dog. He's my first dog and if I outlive him he won't be my last.

Allo, Lucien. I am neither a dog person or a cat person, but these furry little people gravitate toward me. Dogs raise my spirits. Cats lower my blood pressure and heart rate. Some young pup will adopt you soon as a new dad. Brighter days are ahead.

RIP indeed. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Furry friends are a huge part of my life, and as others have said, I'm sure a new one will come along for you soon PB. All the best.

Hey PB - Sorry about that loss. I can appreciate how you feel. Our family has been 'rescuing' pets and making them our own for awhile now. We've lost 3 since Christmas. At least they went happy here and loved.
