Takes about 3 hours. You have to chain all the tires and drive backwards through town with a blindfold on ;-)

Really though, it's not that big of a deal. Drive test takes about 15 minutes. Skills takes about the same unless you want to get out and look a hundred times on the backing portion ;-) Pretty simple straight back, a 45 degree and alley dock, a Jersey turn around the orange barrels and you're ready to work for May.

...And don't buy ANYTHING and expect to get reimbursed. They will nickel and dime you to death if you let them.

I always got reimbursed for everything I paid for. Communicate with your DM and get a PO number. Write that down on the receipt and transflow it with your paperwork. Never had an issue.

But the point is is that you have to request the PO before you buy the thing unless its a scale or a toll.

Well, yesterday was College bball for me at home. I like this time of year with March Madness. Man, even though I get home every week, one day and two nights at home just doesn't suit me anymore. I'm working on getting myself into a three night and two full days off routine which is a doable proposition with company. Our dispatching routes allows me to average 500 to 600 miles a day. Five days a week of that suits my needs financially and yet provides me with the more hometime I feel like I'm needing these days.

I'm glad to see I am not the only one that had issues with payroll!!!! First it was always send in a receipt, so I do that and not always do I get reimbursed. Now I am being told I need a PO. WTF... How many drivers are out there that don't even notice the nickels and dimes....I've often wondered that!!
