I have been looking at trucking companys insurance and can't find any that don't require you to be there 90 days before you can get health coverage, i was looking for a reasonable company with health coverage when your hired. is there such a thing **** thanks

I have seen a few ads where they offer day 1 coverage, but can't think of who they are. 90 days is the norm and they are a few with 30 and 60 day waiting periods.

There are very few companies, trucking or not, that will cover you from Day 1. Some are 30, some are 60, some are 90, and still more are 6 months.

I never worked for a employer that covered you from day 1. Looking for that very small needle in a giant haystack will lead you to bypass some good job opportunities.

You should know that pre-existing conditions are rarely covered - especially from day 1.
So looking for med coverage in a short amount of time probably won't help you.

yes i am all aware of the pre- existing thing and i'm not looking for a quick fix. i am paying for health coverage now and if i go back to driving i will have to pay for it for at least 90 days witch will cut into my bottom line in a big way. i am looking at it in a way to come out with the best bottom line that i can. in other word's i don't want to be paying them to work for em as the old saying goes. thank's for the advice

Werner is the first of the month following your first full month. In otherwords, if you start on the 12th of May, one full month later would be 12th of June, so coverage would start July 1. This is what the recruiter and their documents say.
