Just got to remington for the orientation and i figured i would share my experience for any of you who wonder about this company. i wasnt expecting anything to fancy, but man, this place is pretty low budget. Im not a picky person and i can deal with it seeing as it will only be two days, but i wish my room had some heat. The office ladies are nice so far i will know more tomorrow. I havnt seen any one else here yet, she said two more were coming. Im not sure if they are going to be otr drivers or not. Im going to be running local, maybe stay out a night here and there. As far as i know they are giving me a 2005 kenworth extended day cab which is fine by me. i saw the truck i think is mine bc he told me they just did some pm on it and it was ready to go. Hopefully this company works out for me iv been out of a truck for three months now and done ran out of money. I will keep you guys updated as orientation goes on. and if people are interested i will keep posting once i get my truck and get to work.

It took a while to get back on here, I've been busy. They gave me my truck last week, it's on 05 kw day cab it's a little old and beat, but I like it. it's a pretty solid truck. I drove it from Northwest Indiana to Lansing, Michigan and back with a load of ladders and had no problems. they have been giving me about 3 to 400 miles a day which isn't bad in my opinion. Being home every night is the best part by far I feel like I have a life again. All and all it seems like a pretty decent company, the dispatcher is nice and there's no forced dispatch. Another perk is the truck is not turned down so I have that extra speed if i need it(and when i want it
) I don't know how many local drivers they want to hire, but if you live in Indiana they have plenty of local work from what I understand, they have some shuttle stuff down south that pays hourly also. If any one has any questions feel free to ask I will answer the best of my ability.

its not the best equipment around but iv driven way worse. they are in the process of getting new trucks and trailers but it seems like a very slow process.
