Prime or Central Refrigerated?

    It is my understand they do hire newbies for tanker & also flatbed. If you do an application, check which division you are applying for. Should be on their online appliction. Schneider also hires newbies for tanker, but you must complete a privte CDL school first.

    Central? They run something like 62 or 63 for company vehicles, and I believe it's 68 for LPs. Even though they're a separate company from Swift, they lease through Swift, and are subject to their terms and conditions.

    Prime is 58 on the pedal and depending on the truck.. 58-62 on the cruise.

    Hey Channeling might want to keep asking all your questions to their recruiters also wouldn't advise narrowing it down to how fast you drive.

    central refrigerated is owned by Jerry moyers daughter. He owns SWIFT

    I wasn't talking about hours, money, etc... They are just slow. Just a simple statement people. FYI I am governed at 65 and always reach my fuel bonus!

    Actually, Swift is a publicly traded company - it's shareholders who own Swift. Moyes tried to buy back those shares and return it to a private company status, but that venture failed. Central is a private company, whose affiliations with Swift are kept as minimal as they can be.
